Consumer reports may not be perfect, but they provide good, basic info in their articles. Who else does comparisons on 10-15 products in the same category?
The November 1998 issue of Consumer Reports magazine rated snow tires, and the highest-rated all-around performer was the Michelin XM+S Alpin and the highest-rated snow/ice tires were the Yokohama Guardex 600/Dunlop Graspic HS-1.

I received the 2000 Consumer Reports Auto guide which features comparison of new vehicles as well as used vehicles to help people from buying a lemon. In their ratings of Wranglers, almost everything was rated avg or poor on 92-93 Wranglers but things got better for 94s and above. Does anyone know what the major change between 93 and 94 was to make such a difference?
