| Gee, Charlene, if Chrysler and its products are so bad, why are they even
on this list. Oh yeah, thats right - Consumer Reports knows not of what
it speaks because owners are not truthful. Give me a break! |

Consumer Reports On Line ranks the ML320 lowest of the 20-plus SUVs
listed in terms of reliability.
I am interested in hearing from others who own or have owned ML320s.
What is your opinion of the car? When I pay top dollar for a vehicle,
I do not expect to have to deal with fit-and-finish problems or other
more serious mechanical defects. Im in line for an ML320, but Im
hearing enough negative information that Im considering bailing out.
What is your advice?

| I wouldnt put a lot of stock in consumer reports auto rating, just a guide.
I believe the people with problems are more apt to respond to cu questions
than people without problems. i dont belive cu relates to the seriosness of
a prolem, only that a problem had existed. |

The November 1998 issue of Consumer Reports magazine rated snow tires, and
the highest-rated all-around performer was the Michelin XM+S Alpin and the
highest-rated snow/ice tires were the Yokohama Guardex 600/Dunlop Graspic
HS-1. |

Consumers Report send their reliability survey around April of each year and
they publish the auto results on the April Issue NEXT YEAR. So this means that
the recent 1995 Auto Issue has data that is one year old. Why does it take
them that long to publish the data? |
